Black Friday: Love or hate

Over the years I have had a love hate relationship with Black Friday. My mom instilled in me a love for a deal. I almost never buy something that isn't on sale. I shop the remnants at JoAnn's. I'm always in search for a deal on anything I need.

For a someone like me, Black Friday should be a dream come true but there are a couple things in my way: first, I hate crowds, second I'm not a morning person. I know they've started having Black Friday events at midnight but I still can't handle crowds. I can't stand to wait in line that long to check out. My saving grace is online shopping. Most of my shopping lately has been for Peanut. More than anything I really love shopping for cloth diapers. I love trying them all! I'm currently trying out fitted cloth diapers in anticipation of Peanut getting older and becoming a heavier wetter.

Obligatory First Post

So this is it. The obligatory first post. I started a blog a few years ago but with our new addition I decided to start a new blog about our lives with Peanut.

I'll be blogging about our lives including breastfeeding, cloth diapering, baby wearing, crocheting, sewing, photography, astronomy, photo-astronomy, possibly homebrewing, traveling, and cooking. We have a lot of hobbies and hopefully I can blog about all of them!
