Last night I posted about my fabric drying experiment. The results weren't great. By morning the only fabrics that were dry were the microfiber. I was running to town today so I picked up 10 Gerber flats to try. I've been reading that they're the fastest drying diapers and they work pretty well.
I washed and dried them 2 times (3-4 times is ideal) and then folded them. I'll probably have to use 2 per diaper if I'm using just the flat. If I'm using them as an insert in a pocket then I think I can use just one. I'll spend some more time tomorrow testing these flats. One plus is I can use them under the wool pants I've been crocheting and they are quite trim, even using two.
